MKG-Meeting  Stitch 'n' Pitch View Details

On Sunday, September 12th, join the Minnesota Knitters’ Guild for an afternoon of baseball and knitting! The Twins will be taking on the Kansas City Royals at Target Field at 1:10pm.

MKG has 80 tickets in the Right Field Porch section. This section is inside gate 34 on the main level. All the seats are stools with backs and have a small table (drink rail) in front of them. We’ll be enjoying the game, knitting, and giving away Twins and knitting prizes throughout the game. Tickets go on sale Friday, July 23rd at 8:00am. Members, watch your email for the link to purchase. (If we have tickets available after the first week of sales, we will open it to non-members)

Tickets cost $46.00. Each ticket is loaded with $10 worth of credit that can be used to buy food and drinks at the game.

Join us for our virtual State Fair Review! The meeting will be via Zoom, https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89352135038

We'll have a slideshow of all the amazing items our members entered in this year's MN State Fair, as well as, county fairs and maybe even some other state fairs. It's always a fun meeting seeing all the beautiful knit items and hearing what the judges had to say.

(The deadline to submitted items to be included in the slideshow was Sunday, September 12th)

MKG-Special Event  Donation Drop Off Event View Details

We will collect your knitted items for our service partners on Sunday, October 24, 2021 from 11am - 2pm at the Textile Center. Please include a slip of paper with your name and number of items you are dropping off so we can make sure you receive recognition charms for your service knitting donation.
 
This year our partner organizations are: Hats for the Homeless, Hats and Mittens, and the Range Center.
Items needed are knitted adult and children’s hats, mittens, scarves, fingerless mitts, and lap blankets.
 
PLEASE WASH ALL KNIT ITEMS PRIOR TO DONATION.
 
We’ll also be accepting yarn donations; full skeins with labels, natural fibers or blends only please. Needles are always welcome.
