MKG-Meeting  December Guild Meeting View Details

Come and share the joy of the season as we share a holiday potluck, bid on each others stash, and raise money for the Guild.

Please bring a dish to share in our potluck, savory or sweet. We will have beverages, plates, cups, and utensils. Come hungry, as there is always a ton of food!

Edit your stash a little (or a lot!) for donation in our silent auction and bring a dish to share. If you have something to donate to the auction, please print the Silent Auction Form, fill out the information, and bring it with your donation. This will help set up move much faster on auction day. We can take full skeins of yarn with labels, knitting books, and knitting tools. All proceeds go to the Guild to support the upcoming year’s activities.

You can pay for auction winnings with cash, check, or credit. If you have some extra plastic shopping bags at home, please bring them along as we can use them for the auction.

So get ready to bid, laugh, eat, knit and give 2019 a great Minnesota Knitters' Guild send-off!

We need volunteers to help out at this meeting. Sign-up here.

Meetings are free and open to the public, however we encourage you to join the Guild so we can continue to offer programs like these.

Minnesota Knitters’ Guild Annual Tea

Raise your pinkies and purl two! Our annual tradition continues: the February meeting gets whisked over to a civilized hour on Sunday afternoon, and we gather for some tea* and scones and social time and sharing. This is a great opportunity for those who live a little further afield—or for whom weeknight meetings aren’t possible—to join us in person. Bring a project or two, meet some new folks and keep those pinkies high! (All the food is catered at this meeting, you do not need to bring any.)
* There will also be coffee. We are Minnesotans, after all.

This will also be our annual meeting, so there will be a brief business section of the meeting to discuss the Guild's budget, activities of the last year and plans for the next year.

We will have a member show and tell at the tea, so bring along a finished item to share. You can sign up for the show and tell ahead of time here.

We need some volunteers to help set up and sign members in. Sign up here.

(A reminder that this is one of our few members-only annual events. Join or renew here!)
