MKG-Meeting September Guild Meeting View Details
Join us for one of our most exciting meetings of the year: our State Fair round up!
Whether you entered a project yourself or simply want to see the beautiful handiwork of some of your fellow Guild members, the September meeting is always a great celebration of the art of knitting!
Anyone who entered a hand knit item in the 2019 Minnesota State Fair is welcome to come and tell us about it, whether that item won a ribbon or not. We have a few easy guidelines that we ask everyone to please follow.
-
Only show hand knit items that you entered in the 2019 Minnesota State Fair. Make sure to bring the judges comments to share with us.
-
Please show no more than five items and limit your time to about five minutes. We want everyone to get a chance to show off their entries.
-
If you have things to show, please try to arrive to the meeting early to sign up before the meeting starts. Please include your Ravelry ID and pattern name when you sign up.
As with our other show & tells, we will be taking pictures of the items to post here on Ravelry and other social media.
This meeting is free and open to the public, however we encourage you to join the Guild so we can continue to offer programs like these.

MKG-Special Event Great Guild Getaway - 2019 View Details
Save the Date alert!! The Great Guild Getaway Committee has already begun the planning for the 2019 Fall retreat which will be happening October 11-13, 2019 at Camp Knutsen in Crosslake, Minnesota. Multiple events are under development, including a design contest to celebrate this year’s yarn that was specifically designed for the 2019 retreat, a beer-tasting evening at a local craft brewery, a wonderful marketplace to purchase even more yarn from three vendors, massage therapy for relaxation, and more yarn dying classes for the adventurous.
Retreat participants can choose to be as active as they want to be. Some see and do everything, while others prefer to chat with group members and stick to their knitting! No matter how you choose to manage this weekend, we guarantee you will have a wonderful time. Registration details to come.
