If you take a minute to think about it, all knitters are caretakers of their own textile collections. We take our time choosing the right yarn, the right needles, even the perfect pattern. But, do we invest enough time in cleaning, folding and storing our knitted items that we have invested so much time in creating?
Beth McLaughlin, a professional textile conservator, will be our guest on June 17, 2014 at 7pm. She will guide us through some professional tips and tricks for best caring for our precious finished objects. Beth will also spend some time answering your questions. So, bring those burning questions to our June meeting, after all, there will be an expert on-hand.
