Shannon and Jason Mullett-Bowlsby (a.k.a. The Shibaguyz) will not only be teaching at Yarnover 2017 but they will also be the speakers at the Guild meeting on Sunday, April 23 following Yarnover!
Their namesake is due to their "Shibakids," their three Shiba Inu dogs who support their ventures "as long as enough time is taken for walks and treats.”
The Seattle-based duo have combined their expertise in crochet & knitwear design (Shannon) and photography (Jason) and will be bringing their expertise to Yarnover for two great classes.
Learn more about the Shibaguyz on their website, and find Shannon's designs at Ravelry.
They will be teaching "Couture Finishing for Crochet & Knitting." This class will cover a number of techniques to help you create wearables with a professional finish.
They will also be teaching "Stitch & Click: Photographing your Fibers." This hands-on class will show you that even without fancy photography equipment you can use tools at hand to take beautiful photos of your work.
The title of their talk on Sunday will be “Fiber to Fashion to Photography: a sneak peek inside the design studio of the Shibaguyz.” Learn more here!
