Recent Minnesota Knitters' Guild speaker and frequent Yarnover teacher Lucy Neatby is known for her love of color and unique techniques. A knitter since she was 17, a career in the British Merchant Navy allowed her ample time at sea to grow into a self-described fiberholic.
In addition to designing, Lucy is also the author of books and ebooks such as Cool Socks Warm Feet, Cool Knitters Finish in Style, and A Little Book of Big Holes for Hand Knitters. You can learn more about Lucy on her website. Her designs can also be found on Ravelry.
At Yarnover Weekend 2017 Lucy will teach "Bubbles Scarf Double Knit Techniques," an introduction to two-colour, negative/positive double layer knitting, to cover all the techniques used in her fun Bubbles Scarf pattern; and "Almost Saintly Knitting," an exploration intentional holes to lend a variety of effects to one's knitting.
Learn more about Lucy's classes and the other offerings of the weekend in the Yarnover brochure, and pay your membership dues to be able to register as soon as possible (January 7 at 8 a.m. for those who paid before December 31, and January 14 at 8 a.m. for those who paid after the New Year.)
