Ann Budd Sock Workshop
The Minnesota Knitters' Guild is having a Class on October 14, 2013
Registration is now open to Knit Socks with Ann Budd. Join us on October 14 as the Guild sponsors a full day workshop with Ann where we will knit a sock from the top down while learning to shape both the heel and toe with short-rows, eliminating the need for picking up and decreasing gusset stitches for the heel and eliminating the dreaded Kitchener stitch for the toe.
You’ll make a small sock to learn all of the skills in one day and leave ready to knit socks in a variety of sizes and yarn weights. You will also be able to ask Ann about any challenges you may have with this method of sock construction, including techniques, fit and gauge.
The workshop will be held at the Textile Center on October 14 at 10am-5pm. The cost of the workshop is $90. Registration information is attached.
Ann is the best-selling author of many knitting books, including The Knitter’s Handy Book series, Sock Knitting Master Class, Getting Started Knitting Socks, Interweave Presents Knitted Gifts, The Best of Interweave Knits, Knitting Green, Simple Style, and her latest book, Scarf Style 2. She is also a co-author of Bag Style, Color Style, Lace Style, and Wrap Style. In addition, she is a book editor and the former senior editor of Interweave Knits magazine. Ann lives in Boulder, Colorado.
Please complete the linked registration form to sign-up for the class. Please contact Mona if you have any questions (her email is on the form).
