Please join the Minnesota Knitters' Guild as we welcome Beth McLaughlin on Tuesday, June 17th at 7:00 p.m.
If you take a minute to think about it, all knitters are caretakers of their own textile collections. We take our time choosing the right yarn, the right needles, even the perfect pattern. But, do we invest enough time in cleaning, folding and storing our knitted items that we have invested so much time in creating?
Our guest speaker, Beth McLaughlin, is a professional textile conservator. She will guide us through some professional tips and tricks for best caring for our precious finished objects. Beth will also spend some time answering your questions. So, bring those burning questions to our June meeting, after all, there will be an expert on-hand.
Get the most out of your love of knitting! Membership benefits include pre-registration for Yarnover, a subscription to our quarterly Cable Gram, organized public service projects and camaraderie with fellow knitters. Annual dues are $30.
