The Minnesota Knitters' Guild is having a Special Event and Classes on March 4, 2013
Have you ever knit with Hempathy or Silky Wool? Come meet the lady behind the yarn. Elsebeth Lavold has spent the last 30 years as a professional designer, starting the Vikings Knit Project in 1992. She experimented with cable patterns to create a new technique that visually represents artifacts of the Viking age in knitting. She has 461 patterns on Ravelry, such as Gudrid, Greip, Atle Beret, Menja and Swedish Thora, to name a few. Please go and see how she integrates her unique cabling techniques into her patterns.
