Laura is an internationally acclaimed tapestry weaver. He is recognized at one of South America's pre-eminent textile artists and is considered the pride of Peru (the country of his birth). He has won numerous awards in national and international competitions and has exhibited in over 70 solo shows.
Laura will be doing a talk on his work and a weaving demonstration in the Textile Center Auditorium. He will also have a collection of his new designs for sale.
