Come and join us for a weekend of knitting in a cozy lodge atmosphere just north of Brainerd at Camp Knutson Retreat. Registration is now open to the first 50 people who send in their payment and completed registration form, which can be downloaded from this link:
The meeting will begin with demonstrations of some fun new tools, then we will open the meeting up to everyone! We are asking you to share with us your favorite finished object from 2013, and then tell us what you would like to knit or learn to knit in 2014. So, bring your favorite project from 2013, be ready to share, and help us look ahead to the rest of this year.

Amy will share with us a humorous and heartfelt look at the things we love and don't love about our hobbies, our lives and ourselves.
Amy was the “List Mom” of the original Knit List for over four years before she started KnitU. She’s very proud that she’s been Meg Swansen’s assistant at her Knitting Camp for 20 years. Teaching knitting and helping people learn about the wide range of knitting possibilities is something Amy is passionate about, and she loves solving those stubborn knitting problems!
The Guild is excited to welcome one of its own as a published author. Wendy Johnson served the MKG in many ways over the years; she is a real treasure. Come listen to Wendy as she talks about her new book Yarn Works. You can see examples of Wendy’s designs on her website, www.sagahill.com.
