The Minnesota Knitters’ Guild tries to promote everyone who has anything to do with providing fiber to knitters and spinners in our region. Whether your business is in Minnesota, the Dakotas, Iowa, Wisconsin, or Ontario and Manitoba in Canada, we want to list you.
You must choose a Category for your business. Categories are:
Fiber Source – Anyone who raises animals to produce fleece or fiber, from sheep and alpaca ranchers to city dwellers who raise angora rabbits in the garage and sell the fleece.
Mail Order – This is not for yarn shops that also sell things online. This is for those who sell fiber or knitting supplies only via mail order.
Retreat – Our members love to go on knitting retreats. We welcome B&Bs and other cozy retreat centers that can accommodate at least three knitters overnight and provide a central gathering room for knitting during the day. If you are a chain hotel or motel, we probably won’t include you. We want to list places our members would otherwise never hear about.
Woolen Mill – Our definition for a woolen mill is a place that converts fleece to yarn.
Yarn Shop – A place that primarily sells yarn and other knitting supplies.
If you are already listed and want to change the information that we have, please send the new information to us at . Please tell us whether you want to add to, replace, or delete the information we have about your business.
