Come to a meeting and see if the Minnesota Knitters' Guild (MKG)
is for you. Whether you are just beginning or have years of
experience knitting; MKG is a place to meet folks who share your
passion, and a place to share our knowledge and love of the
craft.
The membership year is January 1 through December 31 and dues are
not prorated. Benefits include programs at our monthly meetings,
the Cable Gram newsletter, public service projects,
members-only knitting contests, reduced fee and early
registration for our annual Yarnover, knitters' clinics before
every meeting, and the support of fellow knitters.
To join, print and complete the registration form, make your check payable
to MKG, and mail them to the Minnesota Knitters' Guild, Textile
Center, 3000 University Avenue SE, #2, Minneapolis,
MN 55414.
To join an affiliate, complete the same registration form and
mail the membership fee to the above address. Affiliate members
pay dues to MKG and are entitled to the same benefits as others.
Thirty percent of each affiliate member’s membership is returned
to the affiliate to cover local operating expenses. There is no
additional fee associated with belonging to the affiliate.
