What's Yarnover?

What's Yarnover?

Each year the Minnesota Knitters’ Guild has a day-long event called Yarnover held in the Twin Cities metro area. Prestigious local and national instructors teach a variety of courses and fiber vendors display items for purchase at a market open to the public.

Here is everything you need to know about the next Yarnover!

  • It will be held on April 28, 2012.

Get a head start on registration by reading about the classes in the Yarnover Class brochures:

  • The 2012 Yarnover full-color class brochure.
  • The easy- download 2012 Yarnover black and white class brochure.
  • There is a Yarnover group on Ravelry.

Instructors

Instructors are invited to teach based on their class portfolios, current knitting trends and feedback from participants and the Yarnover committee. If you are interested in teaching at a future Yarnover or have a great suggestion for a teacher, please contact our current chairperson, Shelley Hermanson at .

Vendors, Door Prizes and Publicity

A vendor mailing goes out the week of Martin Luther King day (mid-January) of each year for that year’s event to invite groups to participate. Vendors are selected on a first-come, first-served basis and according to vendor space available. If you are interested in being a major sponsor, vendor, donating door prizes or using this event to advertise your knitting related business at a future event, please contact our vendor mailing coordinator, Sue Traczyk at .
