Each quarter, the Minnesota Knitters' Guild encourages members to knit for a special charity or community service. Our first-quarter project for 2006: knitting slippers for U.S. servicemen and servicewomen deployed or stationed abroad. Items are collected at the March MKG monthly meeting.
