Textile Center 10th Annual Textile Garage Sale - Textile Sale
Hours of textile shopping fun to support the Textile Center - The biggest textile garage sale ever is back again. Admission is just $1 per person. Hours of textile shopping fun! Imagine hundreds of square feet piled high with fabric, yarn, threads, notions, kits, patterns, magazines, tools, beads, buttons, even unfinished projects! Again this year expect a nice selection of vintage textiles, looms, various types of hoops and stands, sewing machines, sergers and other specialty equipment available for bidding in a silent auction. And don't forget the better-than-ever used book sale in the Library! Pre-sale event is held the night before on Friday, April 16th for $25 so you can shop the event before the doors open the public.

Shepherds Harvest Sheep and Wool Festival - Special Event
The County Fair of Wool! - The 13th annual Shepherd's Harvest gives you a Mother's Day weekend full of your favorite fiber -- and the animals who grow it. Included on the Washington County Fairgrounds are three buildings of juried vendors; a full roster of classes; ongoing demonstrations of sheep-shearing, herding dogs, spinning, and of course knitting; fleece sales (from alpacas and angora rabbits as well as sheep!); and friendly competitions. And yes, you can eat a fresh-grilled lambburger. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 8, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 9. Foot in the Door Artists' Exhibition - Calling all Minnesota artists! Foot in the Door, Minnesota artists’ exhibition at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts. Exhibit runs Feb. 19-June 13.
