Great Guild Getaway 2012

Posted in News by Infomaster on Jan 5th, 2012

The Travel, Trips and Retreats Committee has planned another event for MKG members! Come and join us from March 16-18 for a weekend of knitting in a cozy lodge atmosphere just north of Brainerd at beautiful Knutson Point Retreat Center!

The retreat runs from Friday evening, March 16, through Sunday morning on March 18. The schedule (what schedule?!) is as action-packed or action-free as you want it to be. There will, of course, be knitting, eating, and sleeping.

The cost is $130 and includes lodging and 5 meals.

To register:

  1. simply download and print out the PDF of the registration form, which is available here.
  2. Complete the form and make out a check.
  3. Mail the completed form and a check for the complete amount to the address on the form via US mail.

Your registration, with payment, must be postmarked before January 20, 2012. Any registrations postmarked after these dates will be processed only if there are still spaces available.

Once you're signed up for the event, you'll receive an email with a map and all the details about the weekend.

Hope to see you there!

The registration form for the Great Guild Getaway is available for download in PDF format.
To view the PDF file you will need the Adobe Acrobat Reader, which you can download and install from the button on the right.

Our new membership renewal button is available on the members only side of the web site. Use this button to make a payment via credit card or Paypal for renewing your dues for 2012.

If you are having issues with viewing this button, it may be the browser you are using. We have had a few members report that they are unable to see the button when using Safari. If you switch to Internet Explorer or Firefox as a web browser, and you should be able to see the Renew My Membership button on the upper right side of the screen after logging in.

Follow these links for a free download:

Internet Explorer 9

Mozilla Firefox
