Event Details
►Special guest speaker Staff Sgt. John Sorich IV
will share his experiences teaching others to knit
while serving in Baghdad.
►Susan Rainey will give a presentation about
her experiences entering knitting projects in the
Minnesota State Fair and also give tips on how
you can do this, too.
►Got a horrible knitted item you are afraid to
show in public? Bring it along to enter in
our Ugliest Knitting contest!
►Get your knitting questions answered by our
expert panel, Roxanne Richardson and Susan
Rainey. Roxanne is better known by her Ravelry
name ROX, gives online technical advice, and
teaches locally. She was recently voted Most
Educational Raveler in the Ravelry Bobby
Awards. Susan teaches knitting locally and is
one-half of the Rainey Sisters blog.
►Buffet lunch at America’s Harvest restaurant
and access to the continuous refreshment kiosk
is included with this event.
