MKG Cable Gram - Volume 21, Number 3

The Northern Lights Affiliate hosted the 2nd Annual North East Minnesota Knit-Out and Crochet on October 8, 2005 at the Miller Hill Mall in Duluth. The day, which Mayor Herb Bergson declared "Knit and Crochet Day in Duluth," was a huge success.

We wish to thank our sponsors: Fabric Works (Superior, WI), Knitting Knight (Hibbing, MN), Playing with Yarn (Knife River, MN), Yarn Harbor (Duluth, MN) and The National Needle Arts Association. Without the financial backing of our sponsors we could not hold the event. We also thank those individuals who donated beautiful hand-crafted items for the fundraising raffle as well as the many business who contributed raffle and speed-knitting prizes.

The Northern Lights Affiliate is lucky to have Alice Adams and her volunteers. They've made the Northeast MN event a huge hit.
